Winfred's Story I became interested in coding while working on digital content, research, and creative projects where I often depended on developers to bring ideas to life. I realized that learning to code would give me more control and confidence to build and experiment on my own. Exploring tools like websites, apps, and digital platforms showed me how coding is both creative and problem solving focused. Over time, my curiosity grew as I saw how technology can be used to tell stories, organize information, and solve real world problems, especially in communities. That curiosity is what pushed me to seek structured learning through SheCodes.

I want to learn how to code to build practical digital solutions and strengthen my career opportunities in technology enabled work. My background is in communication, research, and community projects, and I’ve seen how technology can amplify impact when paired with storytelling, data, and design. Coding will allow me to move from ideas to real products , websites, tools, and platforms ,especially for projects focused on community resilience, education, and climate awareness. SheCodes appeals to me because it provides structured, beginner friendly training in a supportive environment for women. Learning to code will help me become more independent, competitive in the job market, and able to contribute meaningfully to social and digital innovation.

Winfred's coding training
