Victoria's Story Information technologies have always been an interesting field for me, coding is everywhere now and it's developing more and more every day. I would like to become a part of this community and create code that may help people in their daily life.

🙋‍♀️ Victoria's Motivation

I am strongly motivated to learn coding as a new career as my current diploma (English language and literature) cannot provide me and my family with enough income in a country at war. I am confident that it is the coding that will be demanded in every country for many years from now. Also, there is a stigma in my country that all the good programmers are men only and it's quite hard to be admitted into a local IT-company without being prejudiced for being a woman. I'd like to learn programming language to prove that stereotype wrong and get a well-paid job.

🤹‍♀️ Victoria's Hobbies

I really like to read fiction and non-fiction, take long walks and travel. Also I'm really keen on learning foreign languages because I think that understanding different cultures and people can help one become a better person and understand herself better.

The Delac Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The Delac Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
