Ariessa's Story I first became interested in coding as my mother was a programmer, before she turned into a full time SAHM. I was exposed to basic coding and logic when I was 16 years old, and eventually when I took an engineering course. I know the basics of C & C++ programming bur want to learn other languages that are in high demand in the market now.

🙋‍♀️ Ariessa's Motivation

I have been trying to venture into Tech for the past 2 years but to no avail. I have been exposed to Product Management but after applying for so many product manager/ product owner role, most companies said I lack the coding and technical skills. I hope to learn coding to be able to get into Tech in branches like UI/UX or product development. I hope this will eventually lead me to be able to provide a better life for my growing family as well.

🤹‍♀️ Ariessa's Hobbies

I love swimming. I find it very calming. On days I don’t swim, I just tend to my garden and watch my plants bloom.

The Delac Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The Delac Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
