April Mae's Story I have a degree in Information Technology. I actually do not have any idea when I decided to pursue this degree in college but it fascinated me eventually how powerful technology as I experienced building systems and coding. It hasn't been an easy journey, and I am honestly not the best at it but I want to challenge myself to go beyond what I already know.

My motivation for learning how to code with SheCodes is to improve, expand, and solidify my existing skills set so that I can confidently position myself as a valuable asset in the technology industry. I used to work on the tech corporate industry before but it has been around 3 years since then. I am planning to return so I wanted to prepare myself by refreshing my knowlege and getting updated with the latest technology.

My hobbies will mostly be reading books, listening to music, and watching art related stuff in YouTube. Before the pandemic, I used to travel locally and internationally with my friends. I also enjoy doing outdoor activities such as hiking since we live near the mountains.
